Comfort VFD is made up of 15 volunteer firefighters from Comfort and other surrounding areas.
Our volunteers are covered with sickness and health, workman’s compensation, life insurance, and retirement benefits after 25 years of active service.
Training
CVFD conducts in house training 3-4 Tuesday nights per month.
We offer or attend outside trainings through TEEX 5-6 times a year.
Through all the training we have several members who are certified through TCFP or SFFMA or are achieving certifications.
